General Tips

Ag Induction Manager has been designed for modern technology and with the user in mind.

It is accessible on Desktop, Laptop, and Tablet devices – while catering for connection speed issues in regional locations.

Minimum System requirements are:

Operating System

  • Windows XP Service Pack 3 onwards
  • Mac OSX 10.4 onwards
  • iOS6
  • Android 4 onwards

Screen Resolution

  • 1024 x 768 minimum

Hardware

  • Intel Core Duo, RAM: 512Mb minimum

Browsers

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7-10
  • Firefox 4-22
  • Safari 4-7
  • Chrome 10-28

To create an account you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Ag Induction Manager button of this website.
  2. Click on Register Here.
  3. Complete the registration form.
    1. Accuracy – Make sure all the information is accurate as this will be your entry card to participating workplaces.
    2. Emergency Contact – It is optional to nominate an emergency contact person. If you choose to do so, you must ensure you have the permission of the person you are nominating.
    3. Industry Accreditation – Participating companies may require that you complete industry modules.  Choose the industries you are expecting to use throughout the next 12 months. You can update this at any time throughout the year, free of charge.
    4. Company Accreditation – Some companies will choose to have their own, company-specific, information.  Choose the companies you are expecting to visit throughout the next 12 months. You can update this at any time throughout the year, free of charge.
    5. Payment – You have two options for payment. Credit Card/PayPal or Voucher.
      1. Click on the Credit Card/PayPal option if you want to either pay by credit card or by using a PayPal account.  At the end of the Registration form you will be taken to a secure payment process, managed by PayPal, to transact the payment. Ag In Compliance never sees your banking information and you are not required to have a PayPal account.
      2. Click on the Voucher button if you are using a pre-purchased voucher (see My Account page for information on purchasing and managing vouchers). You will then be asked to input your voucher code in place of payment.
    6. Terms and Conditions – you will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of using Ag Induction Manager as an individual user by clicking the checkbox. You can click here to view them.
    7. Declaration – The person who is nominated as the inductee must be the same person who undertakes and completes the induction. Please click in the checkbox to confirm this.
    8. Register – If you chose to pay by PayPal or Credit Card you will be taken to a secure payment process, managed by PayPal, to transact the payment. Ag In Compliance never sees your banking information and you are not required have to have a PayPal account.
  4. After you click on Register, and pay if necessary, you will be shown your Login ID and a temporary password
    1. Make sure you write these down – you will need them to access Ag Induction Manager.
    2. Once you have recorded the information, click on Log In.
  5. Enter your Login ID and temporary password.
  6. You will now be required to change your temporary password.
    1. Your new password must be at least 6 characters long.
  7. Click on Submit and you will be taken to the Ag Induction Manager Home Page.

AIM Home Page

The Ag Induction Manager home page is the information hub of the system. To make your way back to the home page at any time from other pages, click on the Home tab on the top left of the screen.

On the home page you will see three sections – short instructional guidance; your user information; and induction modules.

Your user information will show your name, induction number and expiry date.  It also includes the My Account link, which takes you to a screen with all the tools you will need now and in the future to manage your profile and any updates.

Your induction modules are based on the information you have entered for industries and companies you are going to need, either during the registration process, or by an update during your 12-month subscription.

You will only be shown Industry and Company content if the industries and companies you have chosen require specific content in addition to the core content.

To commence your induction:

  1. Start with the Core Content – click on Getting Started and then work your way down the list.
  2. Then select each link under any chosen industry content.
  3. Then select each link under any chosen company content.

The progress bars next to each course within the module will be clear and show 0% if you have not completed the course, or will be green with a tick if the course has been completed

Clicking on My Account takes you to a screen with all the tools you will need to manage your profile and any updates.

On this screen you will see the following tabs

Certificates
Shows your completed modules and allows you to print completion certificates.

Update Details
Allows you to update your personal details.

Renew
Visit here to renew your 12-month subscription.  It becomes active 30 days before your inductions expire.

Card
This tab is used to order your Ag Induction Card.  Use it when you have completed your induction or if you require a replacement card.

View Vouchers
This tab enables you to view the status of purchased vouchers.

Buy Vouchers
You can purchase vouchers here for your family or employees to use in place of a credit transaction.

Industry Modules
Click on this tab to update the industry inductions you require.

Company Modules
Click on this tab to update the company inductions you require.

Change Password
This tab will enable you to change your password.

Tax Invoices
This tab will enable you to view and print Tax Invoices for your transactions.

Modules

Common Help Questions

Ag Induction Manager covers growers, carriers and their employees who want to access operational sites owned or operated by companies that are participating in Ag Induction manager.

A list of participating companies, and the modules they require, can be found on the Ag In Compliance web site under the Ag Induction Manager menu.

Some key things for you to know are:

Emergency Contact
It is optional to nominate an emergency contact person. If you choose to do so, you must ensure you have the permission of the person you are nominating.

[expand title=”How do I navigate the courses?” ID=”GT07″]
Navigate

Once inside the courses all of the pages have similar controls and prompts.

Instruction text is a different colour and gives a prompt to single or multiple answers.  As you work through the assessment you will find:

  • Round check boxes require single answers.
  • Square check boxes require multiple answers.

On the bottom of a course menu screen there are a series of topic tiles.

  • These will be orange when the topic is available.
  • Click on the tile to complete the learning.
  • When complete it will have a green tick.

When all topics and the assessment are complete, click Save & Exit to take you back to your home page.  You can then select another course, if required.

[expand title=”My screen has frozen part way through the induction.  How do I continue?” ID=”GT08″]
To speed up the loading of internet pages, your browser stores temporary files in the cache.  If your screen freezes part way through the induction, you may need to clear your browser cache.

Instructions for clearing the cache differ depending on the browser you use.

Help-Certificate

Once you have successfully completed your induction you are able to print a temporary certificate for use until your Ag Induction Card arrives at your nominated address.

To find your certificates go to My Account and click on the Certificates tab

Once in this section you will see a summary for courses you have completed successfully.

Click on View Certificate to print your temporary certificate for use before your Ag Induction Card arrives in the mail.  You will have to do this for each module you have completed.

When you register for Ag Induction Manager you will have the opportunity to print your Tax Invoice.

If you have already registered, you can go into My Account and click on the Tax Invoices tab.  This will show the Tax Invoices available for you to view and print.

Once you have successfully completed the core content and any additional courses you have chosen, you will be able to order your Ag Induction Card.

To order your card click on My Account on the home page and then click on Card.

Review you address and click Update Details if you need to make any changes.

When the information is correct, click Process Request to order your card.

Your 12-month subscription comes with one Ag Induction Card.  You can order a replacement card if you need one during the year.  There is a cost for a replacement card.

To order your card click on My Account on the home page and then click on Card.

Review you address and click Update Details if you need to make any changes.

When the information is correct, click Proceed to Payment.

You will be taken to a secure payment process, managed by PayPal, to transact the payment.  Ag In Compliance never sees your banking information and you are not required to have a PayPal account – a major credit card will be accepted.

Update Details
If you need to update your details, go to My Account and click the Update Details tab.

To complete your update

  • Edit the information that requires change by clicking in the relevant text window and changing information
  • Make sure all the information is accurate
  • It is optional to nominate an emergency contact person. If you choose to do so, you must ensure you have the permission of the person you are nominating.

Remember to click the Submit button when you have completed your changes

Note: If you need to change your name you must contact Ag In Compliance.

Add Modules

The Industry and Company module tabs are for selecting additional modules to complete over time. They may be either company or industry specific.

Go to My Account.

Click on the Industry Modules tab to choose the industry inductions you need.

Click on the Company Modules tab to choose the company inductions you need.

Once inside these tabs click on the check boxes to choose which modules you want add or remove.  The changes are automatically saved.

Remember…

  • You will not be required to repeat any previous induction material during your 12-month subscription.
  • You can log in to these tabs at any time during your 12-month subscription to update your required industry and company modules.  There is no additional charge.
  • If you add any modules, the new induction will expire at the end of your 12-month subscription.

[expand title=”How do I buy vouchers or see which ones have been used?” ID=”GT15″]
Buy Vouchers
To assist farm owners and transport operators, you can purchase vouchers for use by new inductees.  You can then issue a voucher code to employees, avoiding the need for staff having to pay for their own induction and then get reimbursed.

Vouchers are managed through the account where they were purchased so we would suggest that the business owner or manager make the purchase.

Vouchers can be purchased and viewed through My Account.

To purchase vouchers:

  1. Go to the Buy Vouchers tab
  2. Enter the number of vouchers you want to purchase.  There is a minimum purchase of 5 vouchers.
  3. Click Proceed to Payment.
  4. You will be taken to a secure payment process, managed by PayPal, to transact the payment.  Ag In Compliance never sees your banking information and you are not required to have a PayPal account – a major credit card will be accepted.

To view vouchers:

  • Go to the View Vouchers tab
  • The window will display your purchased vouchers
  • It will also display when they were purchased and whether they have been used or are still available. If used, you will be able to see the date they were transacted.

If you have forgotten your password, go to the Ag Induction Manager login page by clicking the button on the right of this screen.

Click on I forgot my password, just under the login button.

A new screen will then ask for you to enter your User ID or email address.

Once you have entered your details click on Submit and an email will be sent to you with instructions for resetting your password.

If you want to change your password, go to My Account and click on the Change Password tab.

Your password needs to be at least 6 characters in length.

[expand title=”How do I renew my induction? My card is about to expire.” ID=”GT18″]
Help-Renew
The Renew tab in My Account is where you will come to renew your induction every 12 months.

You will be able to access the renewal 30 days before the expiry of your 12-month subscription.

Check your details and the inductions that you want to do, then either pay through Paypal or using a voucher code.

Once you complete the renewal process, go back to the Home page and you will see the inductions you need to complete.

There is no disadvantage in renewing before your expiry date – you will retain your original anniversary date.

If you renew after your expiry date, your new anniversary date will be your renewal date.
